Looking Ahead
Looking ahead, Borderless World Foundation has drawn out plans, programmes, initiatives toward better Health, better Education and Economic Rehabilitation in the areas that we work in. Using our long years of experience in working in the region, and most importantly, using the findings of our studies as a guide. We hope to make a difference, not only in the lives of our children, but also hope to reach out to the communities that we work for.
These initiatives will be in partnership with the community, other like-minded organizations and individuals, and the existing system:
- BORDERLESS HORIZONS – an internal initiative that maps, tracks, supports, and nurtures the future of each child in our care, at each of our Homes.
- Teacher Training programmes for the staff of the schools in the districts that bwf works in.
- Aid and support in improving essential infrastructure at the schools in the districts – in collaboration with the official system.
- Education, awareness programmes on Hygiene, Reproductive Health, Sanitation etc., for our children and the community at large.
- Provision of Emergency Medical services.
- Mental Health camps.
- Economic Liberation programmes/initiatives for the people of the communities that we work for.
- Every one of these initiatives would be undertaken keeping in mind the local cultural, religious and political sensibilities.
